This Grapplethon is a 24 hour non-stop charity sparring challenge open to all members (adults and kids) of Gracie Barra Chelmsford and Gracie Barra Maldon.

Simply, there must be at least one sparring pair on the mat at any time during the 24 hours. (Note: you most definitely do not need to spar for 24 hours non-stop!) You will be able to tag in and out of the mat with your teammates so we don’t break the 24 hours of rolling.

We will have a well deserved buffet table available for the team.

A Mat Champion trophy will be awarded to the adult with the most time on the mat and child with the best energy.🏆

Remember this is all in aid for a brilliant cause. We hope that, as a community, we will be able to raise as much money as we can for our local charity Farleigh Hospice through individual sponsorships.

Farleigh Hospice provides hospice care to people affected by life-limiting illnesses and bereavement across Mid Essex. Sponsorship forms will be found at reception at GB Chelmsford and GB Maldon. Our online sponsorship page will also be up and running for those who would like to raise money for this great cause.
